Kick out ICE: Hotel Wide Awake Training (virtual) · Sunrise Movement
No justice, no sleep. ICE agents are terrorizing our communities, ripping families apart, and murdering our neighbors. At this virtual training, you will learn how to conduct your own Wide Awake protest at hotels housing ICE agents. Sunrise Movement is taking action against ICE by holding Wide Awakes at hotels that are housing agents. These Wide Awakes are noisy and non-violent protests that disrupt business as usual and make it harder for ICE to operate. As a result of these actions, more than four Twin Cities hotels have denied reservations for agents or paused operations to avoid housing ICE. Agents have also left multiple hotels as a result of these actions. Our goal: nowhere to stay and no sleep for ICE. The Sunrise Movement is a national organization working to resist authoritarianism and win climate justice. Our members are under 35 years old. This training is open to everyon!

If Trump is allowed to murder civilians at sea, he is allowed to murder civilians in your streets. Charges need to be drawn up for his actions in the Caribbean and presented to a US court, military court, and international court. Everyone involved must also face charges.

There is a difference between righteous anger, directed at injustice, and hateful anger, directed at those who are different. Authoritarian regimes deliberately conflate the two to silence criticism and create false equivalence. It's important we don't let those in power succeed in this endeavor.

If Harvard is a political entity, then every Church needs to have their tax exempt status revoked.
Evangelical Churches cannot stop trying to force their religion on the masses and are constantly involved in our politics.
