I am getting irritated when people say "I want the government to do something." and the response is "What can they do?" These are elected officials who signed up for this. They were elected to lead and solve hard and difficult situations. They should be doing something. That is their job.

Republicans and Trump have their priorities and NWS is not one of them. The money needed for the NWS was needed to pay for ICE and set up the concentration camps to house those who have been kidnapped.
After media reports & experts warned for months that drastic & sudden cuts at the Nat Weather Service by Trump could impair their forecasting ability & endanger lives during the storm season, TX officials blame an inaccurate forecast by NWS for the deadly results of the flood.
