Take them to court to force the full release. Get the judge to impose a contempt of court charge on Pam Bondi if the full files are not released.

There is no indication that Republicans would have done anything different concerning extending ACA benefits if the government was still shut down and you think their constituents could have pressured them into voting for the extension

We probably are not. I hope he succeeds as well. I am more of an Environmentalist in my thinking and even though we are overpopulated as humans, we should try to base our economic thinking upon learning how to exist within a natural ecosystem instead of apart from one.
I suspect we are not very far apart politically. I hope Mamdani succeeds.

Capitalism is not immoral. But it is amoral, and that is why civilized countries use higher tax rates to ensure citizens and lawful residents have housing, adequate food, education, & healthcare. I don’t oppose capitalism, and centralized economies don’t work.

Democratic Socialism seems to be the system that is most equitable for it's citizenry. As long as the ultimate incentive of a Capitalist mentality is to maximize profits at all costs, there will be massive income disparity and the destruction of the planets resources.
When asked what type of economic system he supported, Lech Walesa said he wanted Poland to have a capitalist system but European style — like Sweden. US capitalism is not the only strain, and it has become increasingly inhumane since Reagan said greed was good.
