It's clear Chuck Schumer is not cut out to lead the senate Democrats. There needs to be a vote of no confidence and he needs to be replaced with someone willing to fight. Trump and Elon are dismantling democracy while Schumer whines and capitulates.

There it is: Speaker of the House says Elon has already started running your Social Security through his AI.
Mike Johnson on Elon Musk: "We meet late into the night in his office and we've looked at that. What he's finding with his algorithms crawling through the data of Social Security system is enormous amounts of fraud, waste, and abuse."

Rubio terminated 5800 USAID contracts – more than 90% of its foreign aid programs – in defiance of the courts.

Here’s a list of just some of the lifesaving awards that were terminated. Nearly all were Congressionally mandated. They’ve saved millions of lives. 🧵

is it good or bad that a billionaire oligarch with close ties to foreign dictators is currently downloading the most sensitive information the us federal government has about its citizens to his own private servers?

it’s almost like journalism has long since been overtaken by a media industry centering the perspectives of the establishment as the default for ‘neutrality’ & any deviation from that ruse gets you fired & shunned.

even if you do speak up you can only go so far within their ‘decorum’ boundaries.
One week in and @sulliview.bsky.social is right to worry:

"I worry that Big Journalism is going to treat a lot of what’s happening as almost normal. In fact, in some cases, they’ve been explicitly ordered to do so by the big bosses."

Instagram and Facebook have recently blurred, blocked or removed posts from two abortion pill providers. Instagram also suspended the accounts of several abortion pill providers and hid the providers from appearing in search and recommendations.

The reason A.I. is being shoved down our throats is shareholders want a return on their investment. Every company that integrates this crappy tech into their products knows you don't want it, but they've sunk too much money into it and don't care. Turn it off, don't use it, don't look back.

A lot of capital D Democrats really need to look in the mirror… No one in the party should act like any of this wasn’t insane or was acceptable just because Biden is a Democrat. This just can’t be the kind of thing the party tolerates

If you, the American public, would like to exercise your First Amendment rights on TikTok, tough luck, you have to use IG or YouTube.

If you’re the U.S. government, however, *only* TikTok will do. In fact, the cable stresses how crucial and essential the platform is.
