It's worth noting that a slight shift in the track of the low could move the heavier band of snow over St. John's, or farther north into Terra Nova.

There will also be wind gusts out of the NE, then NW near 80 km/h tomorrow night. This will create reduced visibility.

Another shot of snow for SE Nfld is on deck for tomorrow eve & night.

There remains uncertainty with the track, but as of now, a narrow band of 10-20cm is set for the NW Avalon, Burin, Bonavista, Connaigre Pens & Clarenville.

Terra Nova, St. John's & SW Avalon: 5-10cm.

Here are my thoughts on snowfall and rainfall amounts for Newfoundland for Wednesday.

Snow changing to rain, risk of ice pellets in the east.

Snowfall elsewhere.

Wind gusts 60-100 km/h, highest on the coast, which will result in blowing snow/reduced visibility.

A nor'easter is still on track to impact #NLwx on Wednesday.

It is too early for exact precip amounts & types by location.

However, it is likely that eastern/SE Nfld sees snow and rain.

Central, west & NE areas see all snow.

Windy conditions will also be present.
November 30, 2025 at 8:41 PM
It is worth noting to pay attention to #NLwx forecasts for next Wednesday timeframe.

While it is 6 days out, various forecast models indicate the potential for significant snowfall for Nfld.

Eastern areas may see snow and/or rain.

It's far too early for precip types & amounts.
