It's worth noting that a slight shift in the track of the low could move the heavier band of snow over St. John's, or farther north into Terra Nova.

There will also be wind gusts out of the NE, then NW near 80 km/h tomorrow night. This will create reduced visibility.

3. Temperatures plummet for the island Friday AM, particularly noticeable for central & east.

Highs near or a few degrees above 0° in the morning, will sharply fall to -10° to -7°. Wind chills will be in the minus teens or near -20.

1. A cold front associated with a low will cross Newfoundland tomorrow.

It will feature a sharp drop in temperatures, strong winds, snow & snow squalls, potentially heavy for some regions.

Eastern/SE Nfld will see some rain tonight, change to periods of snow in the AM.

The snow will fall at times heavy through the day, tapering west to east Wednesday night.

Snow begins overnight or very early Wed AM for south & SW Nfld, w/ precip underway for all areas thru the AM (except GNP).

The Avalon & Burin changes to rain in the AM or aft, ending as showers or light snow Wed night.

Rain moves over the island tonight, continuing into Monday AM. Rain tapers to showers Monday afternoon from south to north.

Labrador will see snow & rain on Monday into Monday night, with rain near the coast, snow inland & over high terrain.
