Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

At one point during the hearing, the judge asked the prosecution why the case can’t be tried before mid-December.

Lemons replied: We are “just getting our hands around” discovery in the case.

There’s lots of it, he added, and it includes a “significant” amount of classified information.

also Dems are almost certainly going to want more than just ACA subsidies in a full appropriations bill. Jeffries has made some noise about impoundment protections, for instance.

While I think the WH doesn't give a crap about spending on the ACA subsidies, they will care about impoundment.

the problem with 3) is that it's actually kind of hard for the GOP to cave.

unless the GOP is just giving ACA subsidies away for a CR, you need to fully negotiate a bipartisan yearlong appropriations bill that can pass both houses, you have to do so fairly quickly, and right now there's nothing.

1) GOP changes Senate rules to nuke filibuster on approps or CRs, passes whatever they want
2) Dems cave for no or token concessions to GOP demands
3) GOP caves for no or token concessions to Dem demands
