NYT: President Trump has engaged in a spree of self-aggrandizement unlike any of his predecessors, fostering a mythologized superhuman persona and making himself the inescapable force at home and around the world.

"Inescapable buffoon" would be the correct phrasing.

Well typing is pretty much impossible right now so, I’m limited to one finger, so I’ll just read and ♥️ posts until I can do more. I have an idea for a new book so I’m telling my phone to make notes and I’ll get back to it later. Hope you all are well.

The New York Times reports that the Department of Homeland Security has sent Google, Meta, and other media corporations subpoenas for the names on accounts that criticize ICE enforcement. The department wants to identify Americans who oppose what it’s doing. I’ll save them time.

This oil painting on board (sold) was painted directly in the garden in 2011 and shows an azalea in a pot, some pansies and a couple of decorative wooden birds. Also (hard to see) halfway up on the right our cat Millie paused to be included.
