In the last couple of months, two semi-professional musicians have moved into my building. One plays trumpet and the other is a trombonist. I hear them practicing, and I am NOT MAD ABOUT IT. They are really good!

I look at some of those charming narrow cobblestoned streets with stairs going up in many places and think "How would this work for someone with a mobility issue?"

And also, I imagine the fact that there are lots of areas where things are simply OLD and redoing the infrastructure takes time or just isn't possible given the way that towns grew, etc.

I have some retired friends who have been thinking about living in Europe since the regime took over here, but they have some disabilities and it's definitely a big consideration for trying to figure out where they could go.

I hope you are following as many Dem congresspersons as possible because everyone is going all out messaging about the shutdown. I don’t want to hear ‘only ___and ___ are doing anything’. Pay attention and join in. WE need to do OUR part to help. Messaging is not just up to politicians.
