Not to sound like a total snob but this is really something that I don’t feel like fans of other teams or even newer Mariners fans can ever truly understand.

If you're like me, sometimes you find yourself measuring your life in baseball seasons, and over the last week I've felt a deep sense of gratitude for all the ways my life has changed since the last playoff run.

At its core, isn't this why we do it? We ride the highs and lows for six months hoping it matters for right now. It's stressful and nerve-wracking and nausea-inducing and I hope as Mariners fans we can find the joy in that.
