Love this one! Such an OG tune. 😍

Changing Waves by @4matofficial.bsky.social composed for our Chipo Django 2 music disk a couple of years ago. It's both an amazing tune and technically astonishing, making extensive use of the EFx command to rewrite the samples during playback. A real sonic journey. youtu.be/xhUI6r4MRhM?...

Yay! Let's start a new #MODtober fest thread and share your love for tracked music, one track a day!

Old and new stuff, and yes, not just .MOD: SID, SND, XM, and so on as long as it's tracked music

Well my other posts don't seem to have worked, so I've decided to try superliminal advertising to get people to create some #TeletextArt for Chunky Fringe.

A few years ago I used your Apple II source to port PoP to the BBC Micro! bitshifters.github.io/posts/prods/... It took me nearly a year, with graphics and sound updated for the hardware, but it was a ton of fun and I was constantly impressed for how advanced the original game was for its time.

Are we at the start of a new era?

Chrome 140 introduced CSS Typed Arithmetic. It might seem like a minor change, but I believe it's huge as it opens the door to countless new possibilities and a whole new era of Computational CSS.

What do you think?

Happy birthday to the MOS 6502! It was 50 years ago today that people were able to buy their first samples of the chip from a jar in a hotel room at WESCON.

Here's my oldest 6502 from the 52nd week of 1975. Still works perfectly!

this is a typically fascinating piece from mic, about how a tall member of staff at M&S asking a customer if they need help turned into “a man pretending to be a woman attempted to assault a child!!!” based on… pretty much nothing?

= 32 bits after 32 years =

We're incredibly proud to announce that Second Reality has now been finally ported to a modern operating system, and you can watch it tear up your system: no video, no emulation, just code - as it should be.

Second Reality, along with the legendary Assembly party were among the earliest influences to the members of Conspiracy. Today we're honoring the 32nd anniversary with a gift to the community: a native 32 bit port of the demo that kicked off the PC demoscene era with a bang.
