Trump spent the entire campaign saying that tariffs are the “most beautiful” thing ever.

Why doesn’t he want Amazon to show them off?
REPORTER: Amazon will soon display a number next to the price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding. Isn't that a perfect demonstration that it's the American consumer who is paying for these policies?

LEAVITT: This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.

@schumer.senate.gov, just wondering…what’s the Dem response to this? Another strongly worded letter with strongly worded questions?! 🤦‍♀️

Either you meet this moment or step aside as minority leader. We need someone who will FIGHT! #ProudBlue

America was founded on the concept of checks and balances, but Republicans in Congress are bending the knee to those who seek to gut our government from the inside out.

We have the power to stop the cessation of power to Donald Trump and Elon Musk. I urge a no vote on the CR.

I don’t think that Senate Democrats understand how much their voters want them to fight.

It’s not just the left. It’s the normie dems and the centrists, too. If they keep going down this path, quite a few of them will be facing primary challengers with a lot of support.

19-20 months from now, Trump will have pushed the economy off a cliff and left the civil service a smouldering husk. If you're a Democratic elected and you think a government shutdown from a CR fight is gonna be the thing voters remember, you need your fucking head examined.

Republicans control every part of the federal government.

They’re unpopular people who have been doing unpopular things — if you can’t make the obvious case that any shutdown is yet another misstep of their own making, you should get the hell out of politics

go fucking make them look bad. they're fascists. how hard can this be.
