As a librarian, I watched people’s research capabilities degrade in the age of Google. Maybe we will be forced now to relearn how to use databases now that even Google keyword searches are worthless.

antisemitism is a canary in the coal mine. if it’s rising it means your society is failing. i haven’t had my coffee yet but im pretty sure i mostly actually do believe this.
I don’t think there’s even a straightforward set of policy prescriptions for antisemitism because its both concurrent with and downstream of like 15 other massive societal problems we’re doing hardly anything to solve

I don't know how anyone can deny or downplay the rise in antisemitic violence when 15 people are murdered + dozens more wounded in a terrorist attack that targeted the Jewish community on the first night of Hanukkah.
