Construction has started today to complete the Kingston to New Malden #Cycleway. With construction continuing on Ewell Road this means Kingston has two Cycleways under construction. New crossings being installed will make it safer for those walking too 🚲🏗️👍

Most of those years the response was 'Our contractors have cleared the blockage'.

Yay!!! After 6 years, the footway flooding problem on #SkerneRoad has been fixed. The lump of timber that blocked the drain and stopped rainwater getting to the drain has been replaced with the proper grill (presumably by Network Rail, whose access this is)
Before and After pictures #SkerneRoad.
People walking into the toad (cycle route) to avoid a huge puddle. Large puddle on the footway. Dry footway and unblocked Aco drain.

Make it as convenient as possible to get your bikes out. Cycle in normal clothes. Chores are never a chore when transported by bike.

Seems like Lime bikes don't get in the way when councils remove a couple car parking spaces to allow their use

Neither of the maps appear to be correct in respect of Kingston. #factcheck
Maps of London boroughs showing (1) where Lime operates and (2) where Voi and Forest operate.

Oddly, Lime have self-imposed restrictions on where their e-bikes can be used in the borough of Kingston. It's annoying and frustrating, and we hope they will fix it soon.
Map showing the location of Lime bikes. Lots in north and central Kingston, but almost none in Surbiton, Chessington,Tolworth or Berrylands.

I so enjoyed my visit to Pavilion on the Park in Eastleigh with local MP @lizjarvis.bsky.social

It’s a fantastic place for everyone to get some exercise! We tested out an adapted bike from Cycles4All. NO HANDS!

From the images that the operators of the Kingston Market have used in their "Have Your Say" questionnaire, you'd be forgiven for thinking that they don't see a future for cycling through the market place. Please respond to their questionnaire. Link: kingstonmarket.co.uk/have-your-say

Great opportunity for children to pick up practical life skills this summer in Kingston, because you're never too young to learn how to take care of your own bike.
Full Cycle in New Malden are offering two Under 18s bike maintenance workshops this summer
