Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all — except those who have made it abundantly clear they care about nobody but themselves. 😀

I hope everyone is able to enjoy some moments of relaxation with their favorite films, shows, sporting events or video games on Xmas, whether with family or alone.

The real secret is that Cane’s chicken is average. There are far better strips of various types that could be considered “trendy” like Canes. Dave’s hot chicken for example, while different, is much more unique and all around better. 🤷‍♂️
There’s one copy, it’s locked in a safe at an undisclosed location and few people have seen it. It’s not an ancient manuscript. It’s the recipe for the sauce behind a chicken chain’s rise. 🔗 on.wsj.com/4q3yD7S

That seems like a lot more viewers than the Bari W. Kirkland brand town hall recently. 🤔

I’m enjoying my time in Metroid Prime 4’s Sol Valley. I’m spending time there between other areas so I‘m less likely to get worn out later when I undoubtedly need to go back to get locked items or more crystals. With that said, Retro should have not locked the rockin’ Vi-O-La song behind an amiibo.

Really enjoying Metroid Prime 4 so far. I’m in the fire zone now and spent a decent amount of time racing around the desert checking stuff out with the moto-license training tune playing in the bg (thanks amiibo!).

Sure, it’s a little more linear than the other Primes but that isn’t holding it back

Tbf, we did our best stuff at WB Games when Warner itself barely knew the Games team existed.
I also attended the full Netflix conference call discussing the proposed deal and the VAST majority of chatter was focused on film and television (and IP ownership).

This 'Business Overview' slide contained the only mention of WB's video game business.

Yeah… nah. Get out of here with this crap. All game devs are not using AI and most are definitely not avoiding paying voice actors by using AI so big money-making publishers can squeak out a little more profit. Talk about throwing away a lot of the good will your game and dev had in one fell swoop.

Great news with Ghosts basically matching the PS4 predecessor which had more favorable conditions. Seems like a huge success for the series, developer and Sony, to the chagrin of awesome woman protagonist haters online. 😉
Ghost of Tsushima launched in July 2020 (if you'll recall, stuff was happening at the time that significantly boosted gaming), and the PS4 installed base at the time was significantly higher than the PS5 is today.

Like, anyone with "concern" about this title should be looked at with a side eye.

With one week in market, the US sales performance of Ghost of Yotei was basically flat to that of Ghost of Tsushima.

It did great.

No film is “ruined“ because it gets turned into a franchise. Folks need to set aside their hatred for franchises (which tend to fund their favorite new non-franchise films) and focus on the why they love the original movie(s) that spawned said franchises.

Double digit declines for Xbox and switch 1 aren’t surprising but PS5 is certainly concerning. Was there something this time last year that would make that decline less severe?
Hardware - Monthly hardware spending increased by 32% when compared to a year ago, to $312M. Nintendo Switch 2 sales were able to offset double-digit percentage declines across each of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch.
