Yes, but not so much because of the stitching, bigger issue is the lack of sufficiently thin leather. It had to be shaved down to 1mm thickness to make it the correct scale.

The heel topstitching is a bit crap because I'm working blind: precision requires a see-through presser foot on the machine, but leather requires the Teflon foot, which is white. At least it's not as ugly as the back zippers on the original shoes.
