One day they came back and the tortoise wasn't there. Their mom said they took it to a tortoise sanctuary so it could play with its friends.

Years later they remembered and realized what had happened, and mentioned it to their mom. She was like "no, there actually was a tortoise sanctuary!"

They went to visit and the tortoise was still there, chillin' with all its new tortoise pals.

I think a lot of dysfunction on here comes from the idea that suffering makes you right and the more you suffer, the righter you are. Thus, whenever a person who is in some way disadvantaged disagrees with you, it becomes imperative to argue they aren't the right kind of trans, black, etc.

I've seen in some left-leaning circles a weird obsession of labelling white trans people as racists or saying there's a huge epidemic of KKK racism among the trans community and can't help but think is basically this but with transphobia

It’s pronounced /wut͡ɕ/ which is approximately “wootch” or “woodge”

(depending on whether you hear the unaspirated voiceless final consonant as more like an aspirated voiceless consonant or an unaspirated voiced consonant)

Comedy sets are relatively short and they repeat the same set for a pretty long tour. If they want to make clips for social media that get people to buy tickets, they can’t just put the whole set out in repeated 1 minute chunks. Crowd work is the only good option for posting to socmed, really.

when I was a kid our farm had guard geese. they lived in a culvert between the driveway and the chicken run and protected the chickens from foxes, coyotes and cats. they were so fucken mean!!!

believe it or not: geese in general (particularly canada geese) make excellent guard animals; they have good eyesight, are insanely territorial, and are stronger than they look
