They have a point: Blu-ray players are still expensive! Two days working minimum wage or a week's groceries for 3 kind of expensive for the lowest priced options. Wrong format, right argument, particularly when some properties are being released exclusively on Blu-ray.

An SLP or ECE with a couple years experience already knows how to interpret, question, and prompt toddlers to understand their meaning. I'm offended by the idea of replacing human professionals in a clinical setting focused on children.

Virtually every time I read something from/about Sen. Banks, I feel like I've slammed my own face into a door. It's mind-boggling to know how much this senator detests both facts and every Dem in his constituency.

I reread an early 2000s YA series for a comfort read during the past couple weeks. It was great until I saw that the final book, that I haven't read, is currently out. Borrower, who are you? What are you doing reading 20-year-old Meg Cabot novels? Are we best friends now?

It’s not mean or unkind to live in reality. Lament the state of our political discourse, but don’t give our reality-based truths away to someone’s misfortune or tragedy. Does anyone deserve to get shot for being cruel? Not necessarily. But being a cruel person who gets shot doesn’t make you good.

The CREW manual being easily accessible made my earliest years of learning how to weed materials educational and balanced. MUSTIE saved my sanity time and time again. It's a huge shame this resource won't be maintained.
The Texas State Library and Archives Commission quietly removed the CREW Manual from their website and will no longer be updating this gold standard for library weeding.

A point for Hoosiers: the state would spend $2.5M if 200k kids were enrolled for a year. Only 125k are currently enrolled. There are rural & metro zip codes not served for lack of local partners. Indiana could easily invest more & at a higher percentage to reach more kids using the budget surplus.
