You could set up a transfer news page tomorrow. Purchase a blue tick on X. And post absolute horse shit, add an AI article. You will get all the club fan account handles retweeting. All the fans believing it. No filters. It’s a Wild West industry feeding off football

How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.

If Trump truly sought peace, he would be pressuring the invader - Russia.

Instead, chasing (mining) profits, he is squeezing the victim - Ukraine.

One weird talking point I’ve heard from far right Americans is the idea European universal healthcare, more holiday time, public transport in Europe is somehow due to American generosity.
Eh?
In European countries we pay more tax in return for solidarity as a society. Try thinking that way instead!

There is no movie for this.

All through my life American culture has conjured up images of its own demise.

But no Dr Strangelove, Fatal Impact, Manchurian Candidate et al imagined a portion of the US electorate gleefully welcoming oblivion in the arms of its enemy.

There is no movie for this

Three years ago today, Putin's tanks rolled into Ukraine, and Russian aircraft began bombing the country.

Trump is lying. Russia started the war, not Ukraine.

Putin is a dictator, not Zelensky.

Positives: Lewis Miley, Lewis Hall, Isak is still the best forward in the league right now.

Negatives: Our defending, our ball retention, and pretty much everything else in the second half. #nufc

That Forest match next week is huge. Probably win or bust as far as Champions League is concerned. #nufc

How can any 'negotiations' about Ukraine's future take place without Ukraine?

Results like this and Plymouth dumping out Liverpool briefly restores some faith in the sport. That these big greedy fuckers can still be occasionally cut down to size, no matter how much they try to stack everything in their favour...
Queen's Park beat Rangers in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox. The away side scored with their only shot of the game...

Plymouth beating Liverpool and Queens Park beating Rangers in the space of an hour. Nothing beats domestic cup football. Straight knockouts. No two legs or elongated leagues for a big club safety net. Randomness and unpredictability are what make football so brilliant.
