The story behind RFK Jr. in Samoa's measles crisis has never been reported. He wasn't there to spread misinformation about vaccines (though he did). He wanted to study a "natural experiment" of unvaccinated kids.

Not long ago, the memo's author, Emil Bove, signed onto a brief, on Trump's behalf, arguing that § 371 could not be used in this way and that it covers only those who "trick or deceive the Government into paying money under false pretenses."
The memo points to 3 federal statutes under which state officials could purportedly be prosecuted should they fail to enforce Trump’s immigration policies.
One law cited by Bove, obstruction in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371, is the same statute that Jack Smith used to charge Trump in D.C.
