Wow. I'm really looking forward to seeing the campaigns and outcomes of the next elections to the Japanese Lower House (hopefully soon, to not lose the timing), especially to see if the reversed-supply model was actually working or if the LDP was the only benefitted in the former coalition.

My two biggest political science surprises of the year is to find out the Cas Mudde is straight edge, and that his profile pic is the Straw Hat's Jolly Roger. Is he just backing the gen-z protests around the world or is he a fan waiting to see whether Yamato or Loki will join the crew first?

No surprises, but Kast won the elections in Chile after getting much of the support from the center and moderate-right. And now the world will have for the first time a literal descendent of the Nazi regime in power. Kast's father was a Nazi official who fled from Germany to scape the trials.

Giving the Peace Nobel to María Corina Machado (MCM) is a terrible decision that signals the world that everything (yes, everything) is on sale.

Maduro is a dictator, yes. But this award doesn't help the situation nor the people in Venezuela.
