It says XX99 and someone in game talked about them being from the 19th century, but then Roathe tells you about how annoying it was to build a Helminth without electricity... 1899 definitely had electricity though so I am assuming they are actually from 1799 👀 it's only a very short time off...

They added a nun character that is French and she just randomly switches languages without translating anything for you, leaving you standing there with no clue what she said if you don't know French and I feel that's the most authentically French thing they could have done 😅🙈
