I'd have my concerns that Catherine Connolly won't do well in a presidential election when the spotlight is focused on her. On the whole she has done a lot more good than bad but her judgement on Syria, sharing platforms with the racist George Galloway, support for Gemma O'Doherty, its not all good.

We are fucked with the numbers of racists being radicalised. The online right wing brainwashing worked for MAGA, it has been working in the UK and across Europe and is now catching up here. The establishment will just adjust to suit them and the people who will suffer will be the most marginalised.

Extremely frustrated with life at the moment (stuck on a level in an emulated Oddworld Abes Exodus level where I cannot react quick enough to change from a sprint to a roll to avoid being eaten by a pack of slogs).
Is it any wonder there was so much angst amongst the youth in the late 90s.

Without seeing the stats, it does feel like there is a huge jump in pedestrian getting killed on our roads this year. A review of all incidents resulting in deaths and serious injuries should take place. Driver behaviour is the most likely cause but unnecessarily big cars/suvs might not be helping.
