If you are setting up a factory generating and distributing CSAM, be sure to also print some leaflets for politicians and have a notice board for journalists to post links to their stories.

Then it will be “impractical” to shut your factory down.

Really seems like they have tunnel vision and it all has to sit in their "well we are going to require ID to use social media" plan. Even if it's not related.
He did say Apple & Google should remove it from app stores.

He also said the Govt wouldn’t give “kneejerk” response by immediately coming off X, saying other platforms have issues too.

I interjected to say those other platforms don’t generate CSAM.

He accepts that but said other issues exist.

Considering recent events, we're incredulous as to why the only place you can access real time updates on delays/issues/cancellations for Irish Rail is on X. We'll be writing to them next week calling for them to move this service off X & on to their website where it's more accessible for all users.
