The Supreme Court approved this today.
Gosh. If only there were an historical analogue we could study to learn about the horrors of rounding people up without due process and sending them to torture camps in other countries.

i also think that it is only a matter of time before this court rewrites section 1 of the 14th to effectively end birthright citizenship. the 14th amendment is the chief obstacle to a legal regime of tiered citizenship and subordinate castes, and they will not let it stand.

This is an assault on the Reconstruction Amendments by a Neo-Confederate Court wedded to the far-right argument that those amendments were illegitimate and destroyed the original intent of the Founders, which was to create a white man's country

My law firm is currently litigating 55 voting and election cases in 24 states. The Supreme Court will issue orders tomorrow that could affect this number. Stay tuned.

While we wait for the Supreme Court to rule in a critical redistricting case from Louisiana, this is what the GOP is up to in Texas and Ohio. Remember the GOP's plan is to make it harder for you to vote and easier for them to cheat.

Some thoughts about the military parade in my hometown of Washington DC today -- specifically, the route. Military parades in DC are quite rare. But when they happen, they have always begun, symbolically and geographically, at the Capitol and moved outward. 1/

Not a single tweet in defense of Trump from JD Vance after Elon called for Trump to be impeached and for Vance to take over. Pretty telling...

MAGA has no integrity. The second they turn on one another, they weaponize the law. Steve Bannon calling Musk an “illegal alien” is breathtakingly shortsighted. No humanity or morality among them. It's just performance art. And no, a JD Vance regime wouldn't have more depth, just fewer felonies.
