I think it's important that he is highlighting a person that has been homeless and been through the shelter system too. As a society we are way to comfortable dehumanizing people that experience homelessness. It's really big that he is showing that she's just a regular mom.

When ICE is fighting with fascists, they're not attacking leftists or people opposed to genocide.

If the resources of ICE can be wasted on going after other fascists who support genocide, then perhaps some of the immigrants or anti-genocide protesters they would have been targeting can be free.

This makes me both enraged and sad for her. It's unacceptable that a woman is completely unaware of how this all works, not even as a voter, just as a woman understanding how reproductive Healthcare actually functions.
