Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.

Everything in life is harder when your legal status as an individual more closely resembles that of livestock than of a legal "person". Age discrimination is an intersectional form of oppression. Being young does not make you immune to the issues that plague adults, but more vulnerable to them.

imma be straight up i get that cis people don't understand us but i'm kinda tired of the "i don't really understand, it must be so hard for them" thing because lowkey gender dysphoria isn't that bad because it's actually easily treatable. what's soul crushing/mind breaking is how society treats us.
