Modern TV comedy is a triumph of style over substance. Everything looks like a glossy movie, but there are no actual jokes. Bring back TV studios.

I say his gently, but…

There’s something unspeakably shameful The United States letting people go hungry.

Not because its government doesn’t fix it —

but because tomorrow a few private Americans could, and never notice the cost.

That’s the part that sits wrong.

Goodness me, these judicial comments are astonishingly damming of the Campaign Against Antisemitism. news.sky.com/story/regina...
Reginald D Hunter: Summons against comic by Campaign Against Antisemitism quashed for seeking to have him 'cancelled'
The judge said the CAA "misled" him over comments Hunter made to Heidi Bachram on X, and failed to inform him of a previous compliance probe.

Fuck off MCU, I just want to be able to enjoy individual movies on their own merits without having had to have seen umpteen other movies and spinoff TV shows to be able to understand the plot.

As a delivery driver I think the worst people in the world are those that order 24x2ltr (48 kgs) bottles of water to their top floor flat, in London, up stairs, at rush hour. Not just for my poor knees but the planet as well. You have a tap you twat.

I actively seek out podcasts hosted by nobodies. Celebrities turning their hand to expensive, slickly produced podcasts make me fucking sick. Entitlement. Nepotism. Pollution of a once grass roots medium. Haven't you greedy cunts slapped your name on enough stuff?

Dear scriptwriters, not everything has to be about the end of the world. I know you want to raise the stakes, but if you've done a decent job of making us care about the characters then it's fine if things only affect them

They should stop filming podcasts, the whole point is it's supposed to be an audio media, too many are unlistenable now because they have to describe what's going on for the audio listeners.

Look, you can have low taxation or you can have functioning public services. You can't have both. Lots of people, including the UK government, seem to have forgotten this fact. Taxation isn't theft. It's the foundation of society.

I don't understand why people are so hard on Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Just because George and Ringo hated working on it doesn't mean it's crap. It's an absolute belter of a tune. If some other band had done it, it'd be in their greatest hits.
