Hoping the First Amendment still exists. Trans rights are human rights. Mental health matters. Dogs rule. A latte should be HOT, not iced.💙🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🐶

1. On Tuesday Night, Democrats won elections nationwide in a stunning rebuke of anti-transgender politics.

From Virginia to New Jersey to New York and beyond, anti-trans candidates fell left and right after spending tons of time and money campaigning on hate.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

We’re in court today challenging an executive order by the Trump administration that denies accurate passports to transgender, non-binary, and intersex people.

Everyone deserves the ability to travel safely and freely.

HANDS OFF OUR PASSPORTS!

We’re in court today challenging an executive order by the Trump administration that denies accurate passports to transgender, non-binary, and intersex people.

The ACLU Action Team is marching in support of our clients. Trans people deserve IDs that reflect who we are.

We want to thank @booker.senate.gov and @kim.senate.gov for supporting #trans youth AGAIN earlier this week by voting "NO" on Senate Bill 9. This bill would've banned transgender girls and women from being able to play on the correct sports teams.

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes.

You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment.

My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.

Trans people have a right to identification that accurately represents who we are.

We've taken President Trump to court to block the policy preventing trans people like Hunter from receiving passports with correct gender markers.

BREAKING: We’re suing the Trump administration for refusing to issue passports with accurate sex designations for transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people.

This action violates the Constitution.

Thank you, NJ Division of Civil Rights! NO HATE IN THE GARDEN STATE!! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
The #NJ Division of #CivilRights just made it unequivocally clear: anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination is an affront to the Garden State's values and our Law Against Discrimination is in full force — no matter what the federal government has to say.
