Wenn Israel es mit Frieden ernst meinen würde, würde die Regierung die extremistischen Siedler im Westjordanland stoppen, die dort die Palästinenser terrorisieren. Immer wieder werden deren Häuser + Fahrzeuge angezündet oder, wie hier, ihre Olivenbäume gefällt.
Ohne Sanktionen wird das weitergehen.

Starmer should know that civil rights are worthless if they can be arbitrarily restricted. Restricting them requires a compelling reason. After all, these rights are a cornerstone of democracy. He doesn't only look like an authoritarian + buffoon, but also like an entirely un-🇬🇧 stooge of the 🇮🇱lobby.

The govt wants to give the police the power to ban protests if they might be 'intimidating'? 🇦🇹 Chancellor Christian Stocker apparently tries to pressure the 🇦🇹 broadcaster + city of Vienna not to host the Eurovision. So the Israel lobby is hard at work. 😏
Hosting the Eurovision song contest seems rather expensive for the host, anyway. So Austria might not be sorry to get rid of the event.

The Tories' brand core was stability, law + order. Johnson eroded it with policies geared towards the media. Labour's brand core was social justice + civil rights. Starmer eroded it with policies on migration etc geared towards the media. Reform + Greens stick to their brand core + are on the rise.
