This effort to chill big law firms from doing immigration and asylum work, and to intimidate immigration lawyers generally, comes on the same day DHS got rid of all of its *internal* watchdog agencies. No internal checks, no external checks.
Trump just directed the DOJ to attempt to disbar attorneys who take legal action against the executive branch while also indicating they will do the same to immigration attorneys.
