I love listening to Lina Khan in any forum. This episode of Freakonmic delves into the actions to fight big monopolies during her tenure to roll back the damage that had been done over the last 40 years in anti-trust.

Am I seeing some media outlets blaming Zelensky? I have not ever been and will never be a Republican but wow those Republicans who came before this beast--protecting our alliances--should be spinning in graves.
During his visit with Trump, Zelenskyy had planned to sign the deal allowing the U.S. greater access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals, then hold a joint news conference.

Instead, Ukraine’s leader left the White House shortly after Trump shouted at him.

As we in Texas, approach the anniversary of the grid failing in Feb 2021, worth noting that the natural gas supply failed rather than other sources our "fearless" leaders reported. Lack of regulation and other nefarious factors at play. KUT Austin dives deep.

As fans pour into New Orleans for the Super Bowl, city officials have tried to find workarounds to a state law that lets adults carry a gun without a permit or training. The law means police can’t check to see if people are legally armed.

This is the thing. WIRED is doing great work. It’s also very easy to tell a plausible story for why WIRED is beating up the general-interest press on this story: there’s a constituency with very relevant information that doesn’t trust the NYT, Post or Politico, but trusts the tech press.
