Such a wonderful, underrated drama that is both a fusion Sageuk while simultaneously subverting the main Sageuk tropes. Such a wonderful, underrated drama that is both a fusion Sageuk while simultaneously subverting the main Sageuk tropes. It's thematically and tonally consistent and deals with a time in Korean history where the outside world is starting to press in and there's tension between tradition and modernity

I made my students a little “book” (just using Google slides) to show them how you all answered my question about how you take notes for research. Just to show the variety.
I love curlews.
Some of my best childhood memories were lying awake, the ocean lapping gently against the shore, listening to the curlews cry out into the humid night.
Now I listen to them in Brisbane.
And I still love them.
But so many curlews being this far south?
It's just not normal
