I know I just got here, but I need to step away for a bit. I’m feeling very hopeless at what’s to come. My fiancé is a trans nonbinary person and we’re trying to navigate what we need to do to legally to be protected…

As we get into the era of DEI rollbacks and boycotting, I just want to remind you that not everyone can boycott every place- whether that’s due to physical/mental health, socioeconomic status, or location.

Do what you can, when you can. And know what your privileges are.

I’m telling everyone: Do not open the door or say a word unless you’re expecting someone and know exactly who it is.

Know your rights. Pass these around…

anyone know of a place that is tracking and accurately reporting on the bills, legislation, whatever directly and negatively impacting queer people?

I’m mostly trying to keep up to date on those impacting trans folks so my fiance and I can plan ahead

Ignorant people need to hear this: DEI is a valuable recruiting tool that helps companies reach a broader range of candidates. Yet, it does not replace the need for qualifications. While aiming to recruit and provide opportunities, one still needs to meet the credentials required for the job.

I’m not crying, you’re crying
Hundreds of couples participated in a mass wedding in Bangkok as a law recognizing same-sex marriage came into effect in Thailand.

the moment a single sliced jalapeño sent me into indigestion so bad I thought I was having a heart attack was definitely a really rude moment in my 30’s
It's wild that after 30 your body just decides,
"No ma'am. We will not be eating that anymore."

Something I did not anticipate with deleting TikTok is that it’s been harder than I expected to fill that niche in my mental ecosystem. Yes, passive dopamine machine, but one that could also be informative, creative, and surprising. I need a replacement, but I have no idea what, and maybe not videos

Yesterday, I broke down Trump’s executive orders targeting immigrant communities. Today, let’s talk Trump’s executive orders targeting minorities – I.E., every person that isn’t a white, cis, straight, able-bodied man. (1/3)

This administration’s goal is to overwhelm us and break us early so it’s harder to fight back long term. We can’t allow that to happen. Take care of yourself first so you can continue to sustainably advocate for change.

The Day After Tomorrow used to be my favorite movie and then we started living it and it’s too hard to watch now.

Yesterday, Trump signed more executive orders on Inauguration Day than any President in history.

Every day this week, I'll be breaking down Trump's attacks on your rights and freedoms.

First up: immigration rights and birthright citizenship. (1/11)

both sets of parents voted for Trump despite having a queer daughter (a trans son in law), 4 daughters, and 7 granddaughters.

I’m the last one to get married but I’m highly considering doing it without telling them and when they ask why, being petty and saying it’s because of how they voted 🤷🏻‍♀️
