As we get into the era of DEI rollbacks and boycotting, I just want to remind you that not everyone can boycott every place- whether that’s due to physical/mental health, socioeconomic status, or location.

I’m mostly trying to keep up to date on those impacting trans folks so my fiance and I can plan ahead

Ignorant people need to hear this: DEI is a valuable recruiting tool that helps companies reach a broader range of candidates. Yet, it does not replace the need for qualifications. While aiming to recruit and provide opportunities, one still needs to meet the credentials required for the job.

the moment a single sliced jalapeño sent me into indigestion so bad I thought I was having a heart attack was definitely a really rude moment in my 30’s

Something I did not anticipate with deleting TikTok is that it’s been harder than I expected to fill that niche in my mental ecosystem.
