I think the visual quirk I hate most about AI slop is everything moves at the same even pace. There’s no dynamic to the speed or motion. It feels like baby’s first animation test.

I’ve had an itch to try and make a massive and needlessly in-depth video on the original Guitar Hero game. Don’t know if I’ll ever actually make it, but I think I might work on it for a bit today just so it isn’t clogging my brain.

I’m really banking on Kingdom Hearts 4 coming out in 2027 to commemorate the franchises 25th anniversary. I just feel it in my bones.

I won’t lie, I have a minuscule amount of hope that a new Kingdom Hearts trailer will release tonight. Not a lot, just like a little sliver because it’s been so long since the announcement.

I’m setting a goal for the end of 2026 I guess, or until I get bored and forget about it, but I want to get 5 stars on all the Guitar Hero songs on console. This will be on ongoing thread of my accomplishments so far.

Listened to The Illmatic by Nas. Fantastic album, but didn’t immediately grab me. Definitely one I’ll have to listen to a few more times to really let it sink in.

Gonna have to listen to it a few more times to let the lyrics sink in, but the beats and flow alone make this an essential album. I just feel cooler having listened to this.
I want to try and diversify my listening habits. Rock, and especially punk and metal, is my comfort zone. I’m going to try and reach out to genres I have ignored for too long. I’m going through some essential hip-hop albums right now, starting with Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest.

I’ve been having a lot of fun just listening to full albums that look neat. Today’s album is Ziltoid the Omniscient by Devon Townsend. Heavy, technical, and oh so goofy. Makes me want a good cup of coffee. Very charming and very recommended.

Don’t you hate when you get a bad song stuck in your head? I can’t stop listening to Ice Nine Kills right now. They sound like a Hot Topic kid that never grew out of it and in fact doubled down. And this is coming from someone who is a self described 30-something Hot Topic kid. They’re so bad.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

I’ve been listening to a lot of albums at work lately and it’s been a good way to catch up on bands I’ve passed on for too long. Like why was I sleeping on Deftones all this time? White Pony is a masterpiece.

I think I was a little to harsh on Ghost the first time I listened to them. I think I just listened to a boring album, having listened to them more, they’re alright. I’m still not 100% ride or die for them, but there’s a couple of tracks that I enjoy a lot.
