tl;dr: Disney went above and beyond for years, *well* past the legal standard and an absolute world leader at accommodation, but people are fucking assholes. But because of that history, even just pulling back to the legal standard feels like a betrayal.

I am not the originator of this insight, but: we do not actually know what is ADHD and what is post-traumatic stress, because our society does not produce untraumatized people with ADHD.

It is FASCINATING to see all the ways in which needing healthcare, of any kind, is pathologized so that we just won't seek it at all.
(My attempt at a diagnosis ended with "You don't OBVIOUSLY have it, you need more sleep and a better calendar." I'm not trying again, not in the current atmosphere.)

People shouldn't have to protect their neighbors from being disappeared off the streets by masked and unidentifiable thugs, but the thugs aren't gonna stop, so the fact *so many* people are putting their bodies in between the thugs and their neighbors, all over the country, is beautiful.

That’s why you need to identify it as propaganda - they want you to be afraid, but they’re guys you can beat. They’re guys you can chase out of your towns. Believing they’re implementing fascism and not just creating fascism-flavored content gives them power. Call it what it is and you deflate them.
Not near Miller's goals--thank god. But it reads cavalier when people are picked up and sent to torture prisons abroad. The regime is weak and also terrorizing people and their children.
