My sister and I have had this little boy since Saturday, December 13th. Sister cannot sleep co-op, so on the very first night I scooped him up when he fell asleep and brought him in my room. He insisted on being snuggled (my arm literally on him) and every night since he climbs into my bed.

We finally hit the cold season here (consistently around 10°C) in Oakland and I'm feeling the slightest bit of envy for the regions that have winter.

Hot take, but we as a society should really start talking about age in base 12, because people arbitrarily assign significance to the wrong ages entirely because they're round numbers in base 10. Being 10 years old, 20 years old, 30 years old, is not developmentally significant, but 12, 24, and 36?

Dispatch has been probably my favorite game this year and it was just a TV show with some dialogue choices and QTEs with a little break to play a management sim in each episode.
Genuinely an amazing story, so glad old-school Telltale is back as AdHoc, and Critical Role being involved was stellar.

Actually extremely important life advice and how I live my life. You cannot please everyone, so optimize for the people you want to have around and anyone else can go jump in a lake. 👍
🐻 Saw a post about death of the audience, as in, you can't and in fact should not try to account for every single random poster's opinion on whatever you're sharing. Obviously it will take more work to integrate it but it helps a bit with moral OCD to at least try understanding

Had an NES, then a Sega Genesis, then I played Ocarina of Time and special-interested too hard. After a decade of burning myself out in tech I got lucky and scored a decently popular game, and then my estranged dad died and left me some investin' money. I'm too disabled to do anything else now. 👍
