I plot AND pants my way through books, discovering a huge chunk of what makes each story special along the way. No one can convince me robot-blarfed word-puke is a better route.
Also just tapping the sign again — A.I. eliminates the opportunity for creative discovery on your way to the destination you *thought* you wanted. You’re making art, process is everything.

almost every novel I've written (and at least one of the picture books) heavily feature found families, so to be living out that dynamic in multiple #ttrpg campaigns is, to be blunt, cathartic AF

While I think the most obvious transferable skill from Improv to playing TTRPGs is learning how to react to situations quickly and authentically, we should also take note that Improv (especially long form) can teach narrative pattern recognition to help call back to previous themes and characters.
