It depends! If I’ve invested enough time in the book and I’m not bored — usually just annoyed or mad — I’ll finish it. But if I’m bored/very disconnected from the writing, I’ll probably DNF

Never have I felt so connected to words written in poetic form, from feelings expressed with such simplicity, to beauty told with such directedness. I adore how Cisneros touches on different topics (love, grief, loneliness, ageism, sex…) with the most care and raw emotion imaginable.
