FYI to media outlets, you're misleading your readers if you repeat this at face value.

There's no lawful way for him to redirect these grants elsewhere. It's a lie to distract from how the GOP budget guts educational funding, including Pell Grants at trade schools.

This morning, I joined veterans, servicemembers, and military families at Fort Snelling National Cemetery for a Memorial Day event to honor those who gave everything for our country. They fought for our freedoms and liberty, and we owe it to them to build a country worthy of their sacrifice.

They pretend that the USA was founded as a Christian nation.

Then they pretend and insist they’re Christians.

Then they govern like the motherfucking antichrist.

We will not win the battle for democracy if those in the pro-democracy movement prize caution over taking risks. We cannot permit ourselves to be deterred by the defeats and public criticism that are inevitable along the long path of restoring democracy. Now is the time for fearless leadership.
The Survival of Democracy Depends on Our Willingness to Fight
Justice Riggs is right. We should not have to fight for democracy. But the reality is that we must.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

Kroger is allegedly overcharging consumers by listing expired sales prices on shelves and charging full price at checkout.

And thanks to decades of consolidation, Kroger stores are now the only grocers in some rural areas.

60% of American households can’t afford a minimal quality of life.

Meanwhile, the 19 richest households saw their wealth increase by $1 trillion in 2024 — the biggest one-year increase ever.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

The fascists REALLY freak out whenever someone suggests Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office.

They KNOW he deserves it and so they are terrified of the idea gaining traction.

Keep pushing the idea.

It makes the monsters scream.
