A photography of a recessed skylight in the pedestrian tunnel connecting South Kensington Tube Station to some Museums and Gallery spaces in London. The light itself is leaded and lozenge shaped and large. Also visible is brickwork and exposed reinforcement that forms part of the structure alongside tiling that is part of tunnel wall itself. Its recessed nature gives the photograph and the space itself contrast in terms of light and shadow. The blue sky is visible. I imagine this more pronounced still when originally constructed and commercial strip lighting not a thing. C.1907.

A negotiated photograph (no photography rule, IPL) of the main bathroom in the private quarters of Walmer Castle, Kent. Taken at an oblique angle it features principally a beautiful tiled wall, a sort of duck egg green but shining in the reflected light entering the space from a large window. Through which the brick of part of the castle interior wall can be seen. Also visible is a tower rail, a basin and a wall mounted cabinet. I liked how the window light plays on the tiles as if the window is leaded (divided into small panes) when in fact it isn’t at all - it’s the tiling itself creating this illusion. Sort of. A muted camel brown coloured curtain plays nicely colour wise against the whites and blue-green of the room. The property has historical significance, connection to Wellington and Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

Slime Train was an arcade style game I and a small team created a while ago. It was made for a charity event called BitCrush which was raising money for Demelza Hospice. For this project, I worked on programming and designing the game.

A bird, possibly a raptor, in silhouette against an overcast but bright nonetheless sky. The clouds are varied in colour, from white through to darker rain producing equivalents. Along the very bottom of the photograph the tree line and an industrial low build are visible. It’s early afternoon on that brightening late November day at a local nature reserve in Kent. Notably there had been a reported sighting of a WTE. I don’t think this is it. More likely one of the many Cormorant or Marsh Harriers who reside or range the area.
