There were a lot, but ones I remember include Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, The Tempest, An Inspector Calls, Animal Farm, Of Mice and Men, Waiting for Godot, The House of the Spirits (probably my favourite), The Stranger, and The House of Bernarda Alba. Didn't hate any of them.
US and UK friends, I'm curious: What books were part of your required reading for highschool literature class? Which of them do you remember loving, and which did you loathe?
