I want to share the story of what my mom did on Election Day in Pennsylvania.

It’s been painful to think about in the wake of the loss, but it also makes me burst with pride and is emblematic of the country I want to live in—the country I hope we still have when this is all over.

This feels weird to admit but a part of me is relieved the Phillies’ playoff run is over.

I love them more than anything but that was a miserable 3.5 hours tonight. I don’t think I enjoyed a single minute of it. And I didn’t have it in me to do that every night if the run continued.

As it’s settling in I feel more and more terrible for Kerkering and more and more mad at the "stars" on offense. Orion made an all-time horrendous mistake. But the bats never should’ve put him in that position.

Honestly, as annoyed as I am at Kerk I'm more pissed at the offense who yet again failed to show up.

Let's be real, even if he threw to first and got out of it it would've been a continuous cycle until someone blew it because no one was hitting.

Like when I sat my fiancé down to watch all four seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, interspersed with extended monologues about how pop culture undervalues complex narratives about women’s romantic lives.
