I want to share the story of what my mom did on Election Day in Pennsylvania.

It’s been painful to think about in the wake of the loss, but it also makes me burst with pride and is emblematic of the country I want to live in—the country I hope we still have when this is all over.

- If someone is pregnant and they want to share that, they’ll tell you. You don’t need to ask.
- If someone’s body has changed, they’re aware. You don’t need to point it out.

The offense again declined to play all four quarters of football and for once the defense didn’t bail them out and they didn’t get lucky (with an assist from the refs). The result was a loss.

This is why this offense this way is not sustainable.

Low of 39 degrees overnight. Let me know who’s got extra hand and foot warmers.
If we lose this game I am sleeping outside the NovaCare complex tonight with a Fire Kevin Patullo billboard

I really hate them tonight.

I guess holding isn’t really holding when the Cowboys do it. That appears to be the rule tonight

There was a lot of talk this week about whether Jalen Hurts was a primary source of the Eagles’ problems on offense.

A predictable handoff to Saquon every first down is not a Jalen Hurts problem.

I am losing my mind.

Maybe this is grumpy of me, but—why run a half-assed handoff to Saquon if we had no intention of attempting to score more points before the half? Why wouldn’t we just kneel it?

I’m still thinking about “quiet, piggy.” No president should be able to speak to a member of the press that way and remain president. That moment encapsulates how vile, misogynistic, and horrible that man is.

Update, I have read the first three paragraphs of the Ryan Lizza Substack and I’m now convinced this was the subtweet of that
Editors have a really hard job, and the good ones can make something unreadable readable, and the great ones can make something unreadable into something good. But they're basically invisible, until someone tries to write without one.

Seriously, WHO does Simon and Schuster imagine will part with their hard-earned American dollars for a copy of that memoir? In this economy?!
It feels like the media is confusing our temporary social media interest in the RFK Jr./Olivia Nuzzi scandal (incredible, hilarious, one of my last best days on Twitter) with permanent interest in Olivia’s inner life (zero, non-existent, fine if she retreats to a cave and never re-emerges)

Not sure if this is about the Olivia Nuzzi memoir or the Olivia Nuzzi profile in light of her upcoming memoir, but based on the excerpts I’ve seen of both: yes

Could argue the misogyny Summers expressed both publicly while president of Harvard and in emails to Epstein says more about the culture at our most elite institutions than any of the frontpage freakouts over academia in the past few years but hey

Patullo needs to walk the plank. Get a decent play caller in charge with this defense that is drowning grown men in the toilet

Anemic offense, incredible defense, low-scoring game, questionable decision late in the 4th quarter in our own territory that put the outcome in some doubt, win over NFC North team.

…did we just watch the same game two weeks in a row?

Teenagers are “too young” to make decisions on gender affirming care.

They’re “too young to vote”.

They’re too young to drink.

But they’re not too young to be sex trafficked and raped by Epstein and all his rich pals?

Be serious please.

Has anyone talked to an actual 15 year old lately? They are so, so, so young. This is just sick.
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

Not sure “He was raping teenagers, not raping children” lands with the qualifier impact Megyn Kelly intended.

The Republican president is a pedophile who has doubled my healthcare costs and let scores of violent criminals out of jail. But a Democratic mayor-elect wants to make busses free in a city I don't live in. I have never felt more politically homeless.

This is what I’m confused about. Everyone has been waiting with bated breath for evidence that Trump participated or knew - but this allegation has been out there for years. Like, don’t we know this already?

(Friendly reminder that a woman’s testimony *is in itself* evidence)
Why is Katie Johnson forgotten?

Her allegation of being raped by Trump when she was 13 - at Epstein’s house - seems quite credible, and even more so with the revelations coming out now.
