One take from watching this news analysis. Protests are the main thing giving hope to our lost friends, allies and partners. It ain’t the Democratic Party.

This is from Mexican media. The periodistas (journalists) observe how many fronts are being opened up, “trae muchos frentes.” It’s sobering to consider how many fronts have opened in the last year, but also, in the last two weeks.

South Carolina has reported 99 new measles cases in the past 3 days.

Meanwhile RFK Jr. is “building a case” to argue that the U.S. shouldn’t lose its measles elimination status.

But we’ve lost it and hell of a lot more.

He only cares about optics.

Reality need not apply.

I was just denied access to the ICE processing center at the Whipple Building.

Members of Congress have a legal right and constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight where people are being detained.

The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities.
JUST NOW: Huge mass of agents in a standoff, weapons drawn as Reps. Ilhan Omar, Angie Craig, and Kelly Morrison attempt to conduct congressional oversight at the Whipple Building, which has been HQ for thousands of ICE agents.

FOX news is the worst
Fox Producer: Jesse Watters would like to invite you on his show

AOC: He has sexualized and harassed me on his show.

FP: That’s not true

AOC: He accused me of wanting to sleep with Stephen Miller. So why don’t you tell me what you think is acceptable to tell a woman.

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

ICE just murdered a U.S. citizen.

This violence is the direct result of racist rhetoric coming from Donald Trump and his allies.

This is dangerous state-sanctioned violence. We will not stay silent while unqualified masked federal agents terrorize our communities.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
