If pro-democracy voters expect senators to do nothing, they are effectively giving those lawmakers permission to do just that. We should expect our elected officials to protect norms and institutions; that also goes for members of the House, where Republicans ..

What is preventing World War III? Ukrainians are containing the ongoing war in Europe to their own country; they are deterring war in the Pacific; and they are preventing spread of nuclear weapons. These scenarios have not played out because Ukrainians take risks

The DNC has to be complicit in getting Trump re-elected. It's the only way to explain their actions, their inaction. The American people have been abandoned by out leaders.
