I am grateful to the dedicated Commission staff whose leadership and expertise made this progress possible and I look forward to continuing to work together in my final year on the Commission in 2026.

I am deeply proud of the work we accomplished — supporting legislation to protect California’s coastlines, advancing strong environmental stewardship, decommissioning legacy oil infrastructure, and expanding public access to our shared lands and waterways.

These probes were never about justice or protecting students. It was politically charged retaliation.
