A reminder that Oxfordshire has also very successfully rolled out 20mph in a rural county with exceptionally limited political pushback. I really don't think this is talked about enough. Are your Cllrs refusing 20mph cos "Our LA isn't London"? Tell them about Oxfordshire! Happy to share policy docs.

Wales’ 20mph speed limit is delivering incredible results:

✅ 100 fewer deaths/serious injuries on 20 & 30mph roads
✅ 35% drop in road casualties (Jul–Sep 2024 vs. same period in 2023)
✅ Lowest casualty rate for this period since 1979

The data is clear: slower speeds save lives.
