A reminder that Oxfordshire has also very successfully rolled out 20mph in a rural county with exceptionally limited political pushback. I really don't think this is talked about enough. Are your Cllrs refusing 20mph cos "Our LA isn't London"? Tell them about Oxfordshire! Happy to share policy docs.

@victoriapeckham.bsky.social Thanks for getting us into The Americans Janice, finally crossed the line last night, took a bit longer than the winter! I came to detest Elizabeth and Philip but I reckon the finale left them tragically adrift of family and friend (Stan). Stan was the hero, but Renee?

✅ 100 fewer deaths/serious injuries on 20 & 30mph roads
✅ 35% drop in road casualties (Jul–Sep 2024 vs. same period in 2023)
✅ Lowest casualty rate for this period since 1979
