We do @zackpolanski.bsky.social, as does every other Country. 1 in 67 people in the world have been forcibly displaced. 90% escape to a neighbouring Country.
Please say more about what ‘immigration’ is, using your resonant narratives.
"The question is whether political leaders are brave enough to speak the truth?

Immigration is good for this country and that we have a clear, moral responsibility to protect those failed by global injustice and political neglect."

Tax justice, social justice, and taxing wealth. Informing the wealth tax debate. Defining ‘wealth’. In a country, and world, of grotesque wealth inequality and avarice.
The push for wealth taxes has been one of the defining economic debates of 2025. The question now is how to create policies that work.

If we are serious about justice, democracy and effective government, this is the path we should take.

There are many White British minority communities that are not fine and, currently, will not be. Indeed they were not ‘fine’ in the past either.
The ‘power’ has nearly always been with the ‘elite’.
I'm none of those things - I'm that oppressed minority, the straight, white man, who has had all the power for the last few thousand years. Poor me.

But this shit isn't about me. I'll be fine. It's about people who need help - and Labour aren't helping. So I'm out. They lost me.

Speaking for many 🙏
A 🧵

Things to acknowledge about Labour.

- I won’t be voting for them again. I also don’t know yet who I’ll be voting for in the next GE.

- I will happily acknowledge that the Worker’s Rights Bill, the Breakfast Club programme, the VAWG work and quite a few other points are good work.

However.

Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

We need care workers.
“The NHS cannot survive three more winters without meaningful social care reform. It cannot happen. It cannot happen operationally. It cannot happen clinically. It cannot happen morally.”
The NHS won’t survive this winter with one of the reasons being that social care has fallen off a cliff - but Shabana Mahmood got to punch down on the migrants propping it up as “low-qualified” and “never expected to be net economic contributors”, so… I guess there’s that.
