Read Amanda Burton Smith's blog which considers whether being connected to nature correlates to conserving it and if so, how an educator might engage with larger organisations in order to nurture positive attitudes towards conservation in children.

I spotted this rather fabulous sketch of a 'lady smuggler' (according to the exhibit's title) from 1788 in the Jersey Maritime Museum. Underneath the drawing is a long list of all the items of clothing she concealed under her voluminous skirts and smuggled to France.
Black and white drawing of the side profile of a woman wearing a very large ballon-shaped skirt. She also has on a shawl and a cloth head covering.

I work for Scottish Book Trust and we’re running a survey for parents/teachers/kids book enthusiasts about how they find books for kids. I’d be enormously grateful if anyone can spare 5-10 mins to share their thoughts. #KidLitUK
